What you get for the fee
A firm sends the claim, chases the airline and, if it refuses, takes it to a dispute scheme or court. Doing it yourself means sending the claim through the airline’s form and following it up; our claim letter and the airline links on the home page cover the first step.
Questions
Is AirHelp worth it?
AirHelp keeps 35% of the compensation, VAT included: £122.50 of a £350 claim. It does the chasing, but you can claim from the airline yourself for free, and most airlines take claims through their own online form.
Which flight compensation company takes the least?
Of the firms checked on 8 November 2026, Klaimly’s 5% takes least on most claims and FlightCompensations.com charges a flat €39 a passenger. Claiming yourself costs nothing. Our own chase service, not open yet, will be a flat £29 a passenger, only if the airline pays.
Do airlines deal with claims companies?
The CAA says not all airlines will deal with your complaint through such services, and some require you to claim directly first.
