What UK261 sets for flights it covers: £220 a passenger for 1,500 km or less, £350 for 1,500 to 3,500 km and £520 beyond, when you reach your final destination three hours or more late. A long flight landing three to four hours late is £260.
Through easyJet’s compensation claims form. easyJet takes claims through its Compensation Claims Portal, and says every field is required: your booking reference, flight number, date and the reason (delayed, cancelled or denied boarding).
Ask for the cause and the evidence it couldn’t be avoided. If it still says no, give it eight weeks or its final answer, then take it to the dispute scheme it belongs to, or the CAA if it belongs to none, then the small claims court.
